Transmigrated into a new world, Ronan finds himself trapped as the scapegoat for a noble heir. He is currently being exiled to the desolate southern borderlands by the Emperor, punished for the noble’s heinous crime of assaulting the wife of an imperial general. This is a realm where the supernatural thrives, blending Old Gods, ghouls, psionics, cybernetic prosthetics, steam technology, and firearms. Starting from his precarious position as a counterfeit lord, Ronan begins to tame the wilderness, excavate ancient ruins, and embark on voyages of exploration. His journey leads him ever upward until he finally ascends the Tower of Heaven. There, the ancient rulers hidden within the black mist prostrate themselves, trembling and whispering in awe: "The King of Calamity." I am Ronan, and I am calamity itself.
