Awaiting the Winds of Time

The world reveals itself through three fundamental truths: First, it is an illusion. Trapped within their own memories and manipulated by the "gods" above, people invoke the bizarre supernatural power known as "Sacrifice." They chase after illusory wealth, status, and power to feed their desires, blind to the vanity of it all. Second, it is a world of sorrow and compassion. Under the cruel law of the jungle, the neon brilliance of the Purple Zone and the reeking darkness of the Grey Zone coexist in absolute division, bound by rigid, inescapable hierarchies. Yet, a compassionate few arrive from the "Outside," walking among the destitute and downtrodden—the kindest souls bearing eyes filled with profound mercy. Third, it is a world of splendor. Having survived a terrifying apocalypse, humanity rebuilt civilization upon the wasteland. They unearth lost technology, unravel the mysteries of time, commune with the ancients, and contest against gods. Though time may not be on their side, they march forward unyielding, driven by a singular prayer: that humanity shall triumph over destiny. "I am Wen Liang, and I am also Xu Qiyuan. I hold seven wishes, and I pray for their fulfillment!" "I am Yu Qi. Once a bird with broken wings, I have met my beloved, who calls me Ling'er and wishes for me to soar." Voices from the future echo across time, piercing the veil of falsehood to reach a fateful chessboard. Before it, the blindfolded figure of the "Heavenly Dao" in black-and-red robes laughs in silence. Behind it stand an axe, a hoe, a book, a sword, a spear, and three steadfast figures in strange attire, slight smiles gracing their lips. "You have won. Haha..." a distant voice resounds.
