Stranded on a Desert Island, Why Did Spiritual Energy Just Recover?

An international cruise ship suffers a catastrophic accident in international waters, forcing six thousand passengers to fight for survival on a deserted island. Just as the situation seems dire, spiritual energy suddenly recovers across the globe. Bizarre creatures, ancient ruins, terrifying specters, and supernatural artifacts begin to manifest one after another, completely transforming the world. The good news is that some survivors have awakened extraordinary abilities, heralding the dawn of an era where everyone can become superhuman. The bad news is that the rest of the world is too overwhelmed by the same cataclysm to send help, and no rescue team is coming. With salvation impossible, the stranded passengers have no choice but to forge a new civilization and build a lasting society on the island. In this nascent order, democracy is discarded; the first and only rule requires no vote—whoever has the strongest fist rules supreme.
