I Am a Rebel in the Black Mountains

Transmigrating into Liu Xie, the newly awakened Emperor of Han immediately finds himself bound and carried off into the Black Mountains. With the civil ministers escorted away by Cao Cao, an imperial court is established in Xu County—a court without an emperor. Zhang Yan reassures him: "Your Majesty, please rest easy here. Once peace is restored to the realm, I will send you back to the palace." Liu Xie merely smiles. Three months later, the Black Mountain Army begins large-scale military agricultural colonization. Half a year later, the White Wave Bandits arrive to pledge their allegiance. One year later, all thirty-six strongholds of the Taihang Mountains proudly declare themselves loyal subjects of the Han. While Cao Cao holds the court in Xu County to command the warlords in the name of the state, Liu Xie sits upon the Black Mountains—ready to compel the warlords to answer to their true Son of Heaven.
