Fishing the Multiverse

Fisherman Lin Shen casts his line and hooks the Zhutian Film and Television System—only to be hurled onto the 1999 set of *The Legend of Flying Dagger*, where he is already playing the role of Jing Wuming. Convinced it is a temporary glitch, he plays along. Three years pass before he realizes the system's "mistake" is here to stay. Unruffled, he decides to throw caution to the wind. As long as he has bait in hand, every corner of the world is a fishing ground, and he will never go home empty-handed. Fishing for icy beauties, immortals, sweethearts, and poets—isn't that far more thrilling than catching mere fish? Yet even after he ascends to movie emperor status, he still wonders: why has he not set foot in the multiverse? At the moment of rebirth, the system reads: unlocked. Three years later, the system shifts: Then the system grows increasingly unhinged: in 2003, *Twin Dragons of Tang*—persuade a demoness to renounce her ways and tempt a celestial to fall; in 2004, *The First Under Heaven*—become the number one under heaven; in 2005, *Return of the Condor Heroes*—each time you act as the Condor Hero, your height increases by 1cm; in 2006, *Legend of the Condor Heroes*—become the most wicked Huang Yaoshi of them all.
