Childcare Diary With the Villain

Mary never imagined what the afterlife might hold, but becoming the cold-blooded, murderous nanny from the novel she had been reading certainly wasn't it. Though her own circumstances are unsettling enough, they soon take a backseat to something far more important. The child in her care, Briel, must be kept safe no matter what. His wellbeing is the single thread holding everything together: as long as no harm comes to him, his uncle, Count Kentryle Chalant, will never be driven down the destructive road of revenge. Now Mary races to shield her young charge and steer the story away from its tragic course. But a true villain lurks in the shadows, waiting to get the best of them all. Can she protect Briel, change the fate of the plot itself, and perhaps even find love along the way?
