Riku Mikami steps into a new chapter of his life as a university student in the spring, but his fresh start takes an unexpected emotional turn. Like many devoted fans, Riku has poured his heart into supporting his favorite VTuber—an online entertainer who performs behind a virtual avatar. When she suddenly announces a hiatus, Riku finds himself adrift, struggling with the sudden absence of the idol who brightened his days. Just as the disappointment begins to weigh on him, a ray of light appears in an unexpected place: his classmate, Rui Saionji. With her warm and encouraging presence, Rui manages to lift Riku's spirits, offering the kind of comfort that his absent idol no longer can. As the two spend more time together, Riku begins to wonder whether the connection he lost online might be replaced by a genuine bond in the real world. Torn between the memory of his beloved VTuber and the growing affection he feels for the girl right beside him, Riku faces a heartfelt dilemma. Will he find the resolve to make Rui Saionji his new "oshi"—the one person he chooses to support above all others?
