Gig of the Day

Joo Yeomin is a college student whose life has been reduced to a relentless grind. Burdened by a crushing, unjust debt that is not his own, he works himself ragged across a string of menial part-time jobs, all while keeping one step ahead of the tenacious loan sharks hounding him at every turn. Years of looking over his shoulder have bred in him a deep, understandable wariness of strangers—a defense mechanism that serves him well until a particular face begins appearing with alarming frequency. That face belongs to Yeon Tae-seo, the privileged heir to a vast chaebol empire. From Tae-seo's perspective, this diligent yet perpetually flustered young man has an uncanny knack for materializing at the most inconvenient and private moments, stoking his growing paranoia that he is being tailed by a relentless paparazzo. Rather than ignore the perceived threat, Tae-seo decides to take matters into his own hands. Determined to expose and humble what he believes to be a stalker, he launches a calculated, high-stakes game of psychological cat and mouse. Yet as the stakes rise and their lives become increasingly entangled, the line between hunter and prey begins to blur. Tae-seo's orchestrated confrontations start revealing more than he bargained for, while Yeomin's desperate attempts to flee could lead him straight into a different kind of inescapable trap. In this dangerous dance, both players must ask themselves: when you set a snare for another, who is truly the one who ends up caught?
