Matcha Made in Heaven

Chako Hananoki believed she had finally found happiness in her handsome fiancé. But as their marriage loomed, she came to a devastating realization: becoming this man's wife would mean the complete erasure of who she was. Unwilling to lose herself, she boldly calls off the engagement and retreats to her childhood home in the countryside—only to discover that an unfamiliar man and a young woman are already living there. Refusing to abandon her refuge, Chako finds a way to coexist with her unexpected housemates. Her hard-won peace proves short-lived, however, as her obsessive ex-fiancé refuses to let her go and tracks her all the way to the village. Cornered by her stalker, Chako desperately blurts out that the man sharing her home is her husband—only to realize, to her horror, that her declaration has been accidentally overheard by the entire village. With a sudden "marriage" announced before the whole community and a relentless ex-fiancé hot on her trail, Chako's quiet fresh start in the countryside is about to become far more complicated than she ever imagined.
