Yuki, a twenty-year-old college sophomore, came to Tokyo with one heartfelt wish above all else: to find her soulmate. But after a long stretch of romantic drought, her hope has begun to fray, and a quiet desperation is slowly setting in. When a friend invites her out to a nightclub for the very first time, Yuki agrees, hoping the night might finally change her luck. Her friend takes to the scene with ease, but for Yuki the club is a chaotic, deafening world—loud, overwhelming, and nothing like where she belongs. As the evening wears on, despair creeps in, and she starts to fear that a genuine, adult relationship may forever remain out of her reach. Just when her hope is nearly spent, she crosses paths with Iori—a young man with bleached hair and a slightly unnerving presence that immediately puts her on guard.
