The Black Mirror

Tae-jun has not remembered his childhood for years. A single traumatic incident wiped his past clean, leaving behind only fractured nightmares and waking hallucinations that cling to him like a second skin. These visions are relentless—distorted flashes of terror that blur the line between memory and madness—and they have made his life a constant battle for sanity. But when a hallucination leads him to a vacant apartment, he encounters Yeon-woo, a strikingly handsome stranger who speaks to him with an unsettling familiarity, as though he has been waiting for Tae-jun all along. Desperate for stability, Tae-jun accepts Yeon-woo’s offer to share his home, hoping that a new beginning might quiet the chaos in his mind. Instead, the nightmares only grow more vivid and more intimate—bloodstained, disembodied hands that reach for him in the dark, groping and suffocating, leaving him gasping for air each dawn. Yet amidst the terror, an unexpected and magnetic attraction begins to kindle between the two men, pulling Tae-jun closer to the very person who may hold the keys to his forgotten past. As Yeon-woo’s cryptic silences deepen and the nightmares intensify, Tae-jun is forced to confront a harrowing question: is he ready to unearth the truth that has been buried beneath years of darkness, or are there some revelations that would shatter him more than the unknown ever could?
