Meikyuu Biyori

For Hinata and her small circle of friends, a hidden pool tucked away from the world is their most treasured secret—a sanctuary where the heat of summer and the weight of expectation dissolve into idle chatter and languid afternoons. Beneath the shimmering surface of this secluded water, however, something waits to shatter their tranquil routine. During one of their aimless swims, the group stumbles upon a suspicious attaché case lying silent and forgotten at the murky bottom. Its presence feels instantly wrong, an ominous foreign object in a place that had always belonged solely to them. That single discovery transforms their carefree haven into the threshold of a deepening mystery. The attaché case, with its locked clasps and unknown contents, becomes an obsession, pulling the friends into a disorienting tangle of curiosity, suspicion, and unspoken fears. As they grapple with whether to open it or leave the past buried, their shared summer begins to warp into something far more complex. The lazy, sun-drenched days they once took for granted now feel like a labyrinth—every conversation a dead end, every glance between them a shifting corridor. *Meikyuu Biyori* captures that fragile, hazy precipice between adolescence and adulthood, where innocence and unease intertwine, and even the clearest waters can conceal a world of confusion.
