Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki

Tomozaki is one of the finest gamers in all of Japan, a player whose skill few can rival in the digital worlds he dominates. Yet when he looks at the game called real life, his verdict is scathing: it is the worst-designed game he has ever encountered. There are no clear-cut rules for success, the balance is horribly broken, and almost nothing about it makes logical sense. For someone who thrives on strategy and mastery, a reality this chaotic feels fundamentally unwinnable, and he has long since stopped caring whether he plays it well. His outlook begins to shift the day he crosses paths with a girl who turns out to be every bit his equal as a gamer. Someone of his own rare caliber, she views real life through entirely different eyes—and she makes him an offer too intriguing to refuse. She will teach him a few of its exploits. With an unlikely mentor guiding him, Tomozaki starts approaching everyday existence as a game worth playing seriously, hunting for its hidden mechanics and learning its strategies, one step at a time. What began as a hopeless, unwinnable mess may just become the greatest challenge he has ever taken on.
