Machida-kun no Sekai

Machida-kun seems to embody the perfect brother, son, and student, and it is his genuine love for people that makes him so. Whenever someone around him needs a helping hand, he is quick to offer one, devoting himself to others with a warmth that quietly shapes his everyday life at home and at school. Yet for all the kindness he gives so freely, Machida is remarkably hard on himself. The moment he feels he has fallen short, he sinks into self-criticism, convinced that he is nothing more than a complete failure. This gentle gap between how others see him and how he sees himself lies at the heart of his story. Fortunately, he never has to face these doubts alone. The people who fill his days serve as a constant, reassuring reminder of a truth he struggles to recognize: that Machida-kun needs no improvement whatsoever, because the people around him already love him exactly as he is.
