Metroid: Samus and Joey

The narrative of this manga picks up several years subsequent to Samus Aran's pivotal incursion against the Space Pirates' central stronghold on Zebes. That harrowing mission, while a decisive tactical victory, did not entirely extinguish the embers of galactic turmoil. In the intervening years, the power vacuum left by the Pirates' fractured command has given rise to splinter cells and rogue elements, each vying for control over the clandestine technologies and bioweapons that were once stockpiled on the devastated planet. Now operating in a climate of heightened tension and suspicion, Samus continues her solitary crusade as a bounty hunter. The legacy of Zebes looms large over her new assignments, as remnants of the Pirates' genetic atrocities and experimental weaponry begin to surface across remote star systems. These discoveries pull her into a deepening mystery, forcing her to confront not only the physical manifestations of her past enemies but also the enduring strategic threat they represent. With each skirmish, Samus uncovers traces of a larger, more insidious scheme that seeks to rebuild what was lost, demanding that she rely on her unparalleled instincts and Chozo-enhanced abilities to prevent history from repeating itself on an even grander scale.
