Summary
Official Details
From his earliest years, Kiomaru's life has been shaped by a single purpose. Raised under the watchful eye of master Sadamitsu at the Gassan forge, he has devoted himself to the demanding craft of sword-making, honing his skills day after day in preparation for the time when he would stand as a true master of the blade. That future arrives with devastating consequences. When Kiomaru learns that the young man who purchased his very first sword has been brutally killed, the weight of his own inexperience crashes down upon him. Shaken to his core, he resolves to cast aside his former attitude and submits himself to a punishing regimen of exacting training. Having avenged the young man's death, he presses on with his discipline, determined to forge himself into something far greater than he was. Yet his master still holds one final revelation. Eighteen years ago, meteorites known as the "Steel of the Stars" came hurtling from the heavens and fell upon a dark mountain — and from that day forward, the wheel of destiny has been turning, carrying Kiomaru toward a fate he never could have foreseen.
