Akira and Hiyori

At Kusunoki High School, first-year student Akira Azuma is impossible to overlook. Tall and strikingly beautiful, she excels at every sport she turns her hand to, making her one of the school's most celebrated young athletes. Yet behind her impressive reputation lies a cool, detached nature that keeps others at a distance, lending her an air of quiet mystery. Hiyori Motohashi, a petite fellow freshman, is a member of the school's broadcasting club. When the task of arranging coverage on Akira falls to her, she expects little more than a straightforward feature. Getting close to the school's most guarded sports star, however, proves far more compelling than she bargained for. What begins as routine club work steadily becomes something deeper. The more time Hiyori spends in Akira's orbit, the more she finds herself drawn to the enigmatic charm hidden beneath that aloof facade—an attraction she never anticipated.
