Daifuku-chan to Ouji-sama

At nineteen, Setoya Kinari leaves behind the quiet rhythms of her rural hometown for the electric pulse of Tokyo, arriving just ahead of her first college semester. The city's neon-lit streets and endless crowds promise a fresh start, and she has mapped out her ambitions with careful optimism. Her top priorities are simple: settle into the famously chaotic but warm-hearted Kitten Blue Boarding House, and, with any luck, find romance in this sprawling metropolis. The boarding house lives up to its reputation—a raucous, affectionate haven where residents bicker and bond like family. Kinari is eager to embrace its quirks, but her arrival hits an unexpected snag. Among the colorful tenants is Towa, a resident so strikingly handsome he seems to have stepped out of a dream. Unfortunately, their first encounter goes disastrously wrong when Towa jumps to the conclusion that her presence is not coincidental but calculated—he is convinced she is a stalker trailing him. With her love life dead on arrival and her place in the house suddenly precarious, Kinari must find a way to clear her name and convince her suspicious housemate that she is nothing more than an ordinary girl chasing an ordinary dream. Yet in a city of millions, convincing one stubbornly wary man of her innocence may prove to be her toughest challenge yet.
