Tomb Thief

Whoever first breaches an ancient grave courts fortune or doom in equal measure—and no one knows which until the earth gives way. Tomb thieves ply their trade in the dark, clawing up prosperity for the living by plundering what belongs to the dead. I never meant to become one of them. But driven by a selfish desire, I ventured into a deadly tomb that had already claimed every prior intruder. Inside, I found no living soul, no bones in the coffins—only traps laid with ruthless precision from every angle. By some miracle, I crawled back to the surface, only to realize that a death curse had already taken root in my flesh. To stave off the creeping end, I have since traveled far and wide, forcing open obscure ancient burial sites that history forgot. Each sealed chamber yields fragments of hidden truth, and I pry into secrets no one else has ever uncovered—all in desperate search of the one remedy that might yet save my life.
