Dear Zero

Following humanity's victory over the perilous gates, a precarious calm settles over the world. Yet the extraordinary abilities wielded by espers have become a perilous double-edged sword, threatening the stability they helped secure. At the center of this unrest stands Esper Zero, Michael, a figure balanced on the brink of self-destruction. Into his life comes Adam, a retired soldier scarred by the broken connections between espers and their guides. Seeking redemption, Adam extends Michael a rare second chance and a new name: Eve—a symbol of renewal and a faint glimmer of hope. But can someone forged for war ever truly find peace? Dear Zero follows this question through a fragile world where power, identity, and human bonds remain dangerously intertwined.
