Oda-chan to Akechi-kun

Akechi Ryuunosuke is the most notorious delinquent at his school, a rough troublemaker whose reputation precedes him wherever he goes. Oda Maria, meanwhile, is the school's shining idol—admired by everyone and seemingly living in a completely different world. By every expectation, these two should never have crossed paths, let alone fallen for each other. Yet when Akechi gathers the courage to confess his feelings, Maria accepts, and an improbable romance quietly begins. Their newfound happiness, however, is thrown into chaos almost immediately: at the very moment of their first kiss, the memory of the burning of Honnou Temple comes rushing back into their minds. With that single flash of recollection, a connection spanning lifetimes is brought to light. The love blossoming between them in the present is now entangled with grudges carried over from a previous incarnation, and the flames of an old history refuse to stay extinguished. What unfolds is a turbulent high school life—a story in which the affection of this lifetime and the resentment of a past one collide head-on.
