Fermat no Ryouri

Gaku Kitada is a mathematical prodigy whose future seems written in the stars. As a scholarship student at the elite Wels Private Academy—a school famed for its legendary legacy in the International Mathematical Olympiad—he carries the weight of expectation on his shoulders. But when a cascade of misfortunes derails his carefully ordered life, Gaku finds himself stranded at a crossroads, his brilliant mind suddenly adrift without a clear equation to solve. His chance encounter with Kai Asakura changes everything. A culinary genius running his own mobile catering venture, Kai operates with a creativity and precision that mirrors Gaku’s own analytical prowess—yet exists in a world of flavor, heat, and instinct rather than numbers and theorems. As Gaku steps into Kai’s unconventional kitchen, the rigid certainties of academia begin to blur against the chaotic, intoxicating artistry of gastronomy. In this meeting of two extraordinary talents, a unique partnership is forged—one that challenges both to redefine the very nature of genius. While Gaku’s path was once dictated by theorems and logic, Kai’s world offers a different kind of problem set: one measured in taste, timing, and intuition. Together, they will discover that the greatest formulas aren't always written on a chalkboard, and that the most profound solutions often come not from solving a problem, but from learning to ask an entirely new set of questions.
