Eyaminokami - The Plague Princess

Sounji Nagare has spent his life drowning in the shadow of his younger brother—a prodigy whose effortless brilliance only sharpens the sting of Nagare's own perceived inadequacy. Every achievement of his sibling is a mirror held up to his failures, and the weight of that comparison has left him hollow, drifting through days without purpose or hope. Yet fate, cruel and capricious, has a habit of upending even the most stagnant of lives. One chance encounter with a mysterious young girl who claims to be a deity tears Nagare from his spiral of self-loathing and thrusts him into a reality far stranger than he could have imagined. But this newfound collision with the divine is no mere coincidence. Nagare carries with him a past stained by blood, and his family harbors a shadowed occupation—one steeped in secrets that refuse to stay buried. As the girl’s true nature begins to unravel, so too do the dark threads of his own history, forcing him to confront not only the sins of his lineage but the man he himself has become. The path ahead is treacherous, lined with questions that have no easy answers: What does a god want with a broken soul? And how far will Nagare go to redeem a life he once deemed worthless? Brought to life by the creative vision of *GTO*'s Toru Fujisawa and masterfully adapted into manga by *Happy Project*'s Hirokazu Ochiai, *Eyaminokami - The Plague Princess* weaves an otherworldly fantasy of despair, divinity, and the harrowing cost of confronting one's own demons.
