The Dark Lord's Confession

A thousand years ago, a cataclysmic battle cleaved humanity's fate in two. Those branded by the curse were remade as demon-like magicians, while the blessed rose to become holy knights, sworn to protect the kingdom. Looming over this divided world stands the Dark Lord—the greatest enemy the continent has ever known. Lapis walks a dangerous line. Cursed at birth, she conceals her true identity as a magician while nurturing an impossible dream: to one day join the ranks of the holy knights. If her secret were ever exposed, everything she has strived for would come crashing down—yet she refuses to let go of her ambition. Then fate intervenes in the worst possible way. Through a disastrous accident, Lapis inadvertently summons the Dark Lord himself, drawing the continent's most feared enemy to her side. To her bewilderment, he then delivers a puzzling confession. And so begins Lapis's perilous journey toward knighthood—one unexpectedly entangled with the very being she was taught to fear.
