Long Live His Majesty, the Kaiser!

In 1918, the German Empire stands at its twilight hour. The Kaiserschlacht has concluded, and the Allies' Hundred Days Offensive is driving the Imperial Army into retreat. Once-prosperous Germany now lies ravaged by war—its cities starving, its people broken. Into this dying empire awakens a young man who knows history’s script. He is Eitel Friedrich, second son of the Kaiser—and he remembers exactly how this story ends. "Wilhelm II will abdicate and flee to the Netherlands with the Crown Prince?" "We are about to surrender and sign the Treaty of Versailles?" "Not if my national focus tree has anything to say about it." That day, a new emperor ascends the throne. Wilhelm III begins his reign. — Four-Year Plan: Military factories convert at -20% cost; resource acquisition +15%; unlocks Self-Sufficient Trade Law. — Total Mobilization: Manpower +10%; military factory output +15%; +1 research slot. — March into the Rhineland: Demilitarized zone lifted; justification cost -30%; stability +10%. — Empire Eternal: All German Imperial forces gain +50% combat effectiveness. When all is prepared, Wilhelm III—Eitel Friedrich—mounts the podium and speaks: "From Szczecin on the Baltic shore to Trieste on the Adriatic, an iron curtain has fallen across the breadth of Europe. In your eyes I see the strength of Germania. It begins in the Rhineland. It begins in Poland. It begins at the English Channel. We are invincible!"
