Out

At seventeen, Iguchi Tatsuya walks free from juvenile detention, placed on probation and granted a second chance far from the streets that landed him behind bars. Uprooted from his old neighborhood and the friends who led him astray, he now lives under the watchful eye of his aunt, working hard in her restaurant with a single vow burning inside him: he will never go back to a cell. Yet a fresh start changes his surroundings, not who he is. The same fiery temper still simmers beneath the surface, and the same instinct for violence waits just under the skin. Despite his determination, trouble has a way of finding Tatsuya no matter where he goes, and before long he finds himself drifting toward the very kind of crowd he swore to leave behind. Torn between the honest path his aunt hopes he will follow and the reckless nature he cannot seem to shake, Tatsuya fights to keep his fragile new life from unraveling. For a young man carrying his past on his shoulders, staying out may prove to be the hardest fight of all.
