Aka no Haikyo

Minato Yuzuriha's world collapses when her parents die without warning. Left entirely alone, with no other relatives to turn to, she is compelled to move to the village where her father was born—a quiet, remote place that will now serve as her home while she completes her schooling. Yet even amid the stillness of the countryside, Minato remains trapped in her grief. The sorrow of her loss follows her everywhere, and the wounds left behind are still far too fresh for her to begin healing. Then, one day along a lonely mountain road, her path crosses with that of a mysterious boy standing amid a garden of roses—a garden permeated by a fragrance unmistakably like the scent of blood. In that strange and haunting moment, the quiet life she expected in her new village begins to give way to something far darker and more mysterious.
