Playing Revenge Against God

As a child, an inexplicable phenomenon drew consciousness into a peculiar, surreal dimension experienced entirely within the confines of a dream. Inside this nocturnal realm, the protagonist found themselves transformed into an adult, clad in unfamiliar garments and concealing their identity behind a mysterious mask. Guiding this strange existence was a voice declaring that the time had come to cast the dice. Initiated by this random roll, a profound dream game known as the "World of Eternity" gradually transcended the boundaries of sleep, becoming an absolute destiny, a lifelong reality, and perhaps the entirety of existence itself. Within this enigmatic space, the protagonist engaged in continuous rounds of the game alongside mysterious, nameless entities, sharing moments of genuine happiness and pure joy as the dice tumbled across the board. However, this idyllic participation in the cosmic pastime harbored a grim evolution. The fundamental nature of the experience shifted drastically the moment the protagonist ceased being a mere player of the game, ultimately transforming into nothing more than a disposable piece positioned upon the board.
