Qin Shi Huang's Daughter and the Time-Traveler

In the Xianyang Palace, the First Emperor Qin Shi Huang is outraged when his most cherished daughter, Yinman, runs away with a young man from a later age named Ning Yuan. His fury shifts to stunned disbelief as he watches a celestial screen revealing their adventures. Ning Yuan takes Yinman to visit the emperor's own mausoleum—now a bustling 5A-rated tourist attraction—and casually mentions they bought tickets to view his coffin. He then shows her the most popular souvenir figurine of the emperor riding a polar bear. As Yinman weeps over the fall of the Qin dynasty, which lasted only two generations, Ning Yuan consoles her by pointing to the world two thousand years later—a thriving civilization where every ordinary person lives with the pride of dragons. From a skyscraper above the clouds, they gaze upon the glittering lights of modern humanity. Back in his hall, Qin Shi Huang casts aside his elixir of immortality and falls into a long silence, staring at the same brilliantly lit thousands of homes on the screen. He had believed he was building an eternal foundation, yet now he sees that the true wonder is not his tomb, but the future his daughter has come to behold.
