Hokenshitsu no Futari

Minato's frail health has turned the school infirmary into a familiar refuge, a quiet corner of the school where he retreats whenever his body gives out. Yet it is not only illness that keeps drawing him back—it is Fuji, the captivating upperclassman who treats the infirmary as his personal hideaway from class. Handsome, talented, and effortlessly adored by nearly everyone around him, Fuji seems utterly out of reach. Knowing he could never compete with the countless admirers vying for Fuji's attention, Minato asks for nothing more than the quiet happiness of sitting beside him during those shared afternoons. Then everything changes without warning. One day, Fuji suddenly presses a kiss to Minato's lips—only to walk away moments later, his eyes clouded with an unmistakable sadness. Left behind in the stillness of the infirmary, Minato is left to grapple with the weight of what just happened. Fuji's whispered confession lingers in the air: "It's the first time I can't sleep from thinking about someone else." What began as a one-sided, unspoken longing now becomes something far more complicated, as the distance between them collapses and both boys are forced to face feelings neither can hide any longer.
