Miss Hikaru’s Sparkling Proposal

For an ordinary high school student like Yoshimi Numamoto, life is a predictable routine of classes, camaraderie, and quiet obscurity. That mundane existence shatters in a single, bewildering moment when a complete stranger—a radiant girl he has never laid eyes on—drops to one knee and offers him her hand in marriage. Before he can even process the absurdity of the situation, Yoshimi learns that his sudden suitor is no ordinary classmate; she is a sheltered heiress of immense wealth, a girl raised behind gilded walls and seemingly disconnected from the realities of everyday life. Yet the shock of her proposal is only the beginning of his torment. Yoshimi cannot fathom why a girl of such elevated status would set her sights on a self-proclaimed loser like him, and his desperate search for a logical explanation yields nothing but confusion. Unfortunately for him, the heiress is disarmingly earnest and utterly relentless, refusing to take his flustered rejections for an answer. Her unwavering pursuit transforms his once-peaceful school days into a chaotic whirlwind of embarrassment, unwanted attention, and surreal romantic pressure. As she continues her campaign to win his heart with the full force of her fortune and determination, Yoshimi finds himself trapped between sheer incredulity and the creeping realization that his life will never be the same. What follows is a hilarious and heartwarming battle of wills, as a baffled everyman tries to survive the affectionate siege of a girl who simply will not take no for an answer.
