Kikkake wa, Kimi no Subete

Akiha makes his living as a pet groomer—a man who quietly dislikes people yet has endeared himself to everyone around him thanks to his calm, composed demeanor. His steady routine is thrown off balance when he is placed in charge of training Hizuki, a newly hired junior who is decidedly unsociable. Hizuki fumbles every customer interaction and seems utterly hopeless at the job, yet for reasons no one can explain, animals take an odd liking to him and gravitate toward him at every turn, leaving Akiha perpetually at a loss over how to handle his puzzling subordinate. The dynamic between them changes one night after a welcome party. With Hizuki thoroughly drunk, Akiha brings him back to his home to look after him, only for Hizuki to pull him into a sudden embrace and confess his feelings. Akiha brushes the moment off as nothing more than a drunkard's rambling, but the following day, Hizuki shows no sign of backing down, pressing him with earnest, passionate advances instead. What began as an awkward mentorship is quickly spiraling into something neither of them ever expected.
