Kekkon no Jouken

Souichi and Yuma Mikami have finally become a couple, but their romance hits an unexpected snag when Yuma asks to take the lead just once—a request that makes Souichi flinch. Disaster then strikes: Yuma, a fisherman by trade, loses his boat to a violent storm and is presumed dead. Yet on the very day of his funeral, Yuma returns, alive against all odds. Meanwhile, Ryouichi, Souichi's younger brother and a promising architect, resolves to enter the same family register as Yoshiaki Mikami—Yuma's elder brother and the CEO of a publishing company. Their bond is shaken, however, when Yoshiaki learns of a marriage offer binding Ryouichi to his boss's daughter. Though Ryouichi swears his feelings will never change, misfortune continues to pile on: Yoshiaki is cheated out of his estate through fraud, and his company collapses into bankruptcy. Determined to save the man he loves, Ryouichi agrees to attend the marriage meeting on a single condition—that the boss restore Yoshiaki's lost estate. At the same time, he stakes everything on betting at the horse races, a last desperate chance to reclaim their shared future.
