Determined to find himself a boyfriend, Kotarou begins his college life with a bold declaration—he is gay and proudly out. There is only one complication: in an effort to seem more desirable, he invents stories about casual hookups, and now he is stuck upholding the image of a sexually seasoned man with a relentlessly wandering libido, even though nothing could be further from the truth. Trouble arrives in the form of Rihito, a playboy who lives in the same dormitory, carrying an unexpected request: he needs Kotarou to pose as his boyfriend in order to keep a stalker at bay. Kotarou agrees to the ruse, but his carefully crafted persona crumbles almost immediately—Rihito swiftly sees through the act and discovers that Kotarou is, in reality, a complete and inexperienced virgin. Rather than exposing him, Rihito turns the revelation into an opportunity. Presenting it as "practice" for the day Kotarou finally finds a real boyfriend, he resolves to personally teach his naive dormmate the intimate skills he so obviously lacks—dragging Kotarou deeper into a fake relationship that is anything but simple.
