Soohyeon’s hopes for a comfortable future are far from reality. Instead of the prosperity he imagined, he works as an ordinary secretary earning a modest salary. His workday is made even more difficult by his boss, Choi Jungwoo, a woman so rigid and uncompromising that she has earned the nickname “Satan.” Soohyeon endures her demands without much choice—until she makes a request that turns his world upside down: she asks him to marry her. Stunned and ready to quit, Soohyeon is stopped when Choi Jungwoo presents a contract whose terms are impossible to ignore. If he agrees to remain her husband for one year, he will receive enough money to give his parents the better life he has always wanted. The offer is tempting, but it also binds him to the very person who makes his daily life a struggle. Now Soohyeon must decide whether he can set aside his pride, survive a year as Choi Jungwoo’s husband, and fulfill the contract—or whether the cost to his peace of mind is too high. Can he really go through with it?
