Peninsula: A Life Beginning in 2016

Seoul has no sea, but the human heart is shrouded in fog. Orphan Jiang Yan leaves Busan for the capital, scraping by in a semi-basement room. On the day his adoptive father dies, he unexpectedly awakens a pair of True Eyes. Within three meters, nothing escapes him—the moral shades of emotion, hidden physical frailties, and the dark currents of human treachery all lie bare. When he turns his gaze to musical scores, notes transform into streams of light, every imperfection instantly visible, composition and arrangement flowing as if by instinct. From a destitute music student to an elusive, industry-shaking producer, from utter solitude to building a realm he can call his own—he is set on rewriting his destiny, and even more, on safeguarding the precious light in his life.
