Tae, a lovely seventeen-year-old high school girl, and Kotarou, a straight-laced office worker, share a quiet life under one roof. To classmates, colleagues, and neighbors alike, they seem like nothing more than an ordinary, happy couple enjoying the small rhythms of daily life—shared meals, lazy evenings, and easy companionship. Beneath that picture-perfect domesticity, however, lies a secret the two can never reveal to a soul: both are ninjas—and what's more, they hail from the Iga and Kouga, two clans locked in a bitter, long-standing rivalry. For people from opposite sides of that divide to be living together, let alone as a couple, is unthinkable, so their true identities remain carefully hidden behind everyday smiles and the routines of normal life.
