Just Listen to the Song

A nervous student pours his heart into a love song, composing the music, performing it himself, and uploading the video to YouTube before presenting it to his crush as a confession. He asks her to watch it in private and give him her answer the next day, leaving him in agonizing anticipation. But when he returns to school, he is met not with a whisper of romance, but with the sound of his own voice echoing from a dozen phones. The girl has shared the video across the entire class's group chat, and as the final notes fade, she offers a sneering, backhanded apology, insisting his heartfelt performance was simply too hilarious to keep to herself. Surrounded by the jeers of his classmates and humiliated beyond words, he reaches for his phone to delete the evidence of his shame. Before he can, a classmate stops him, pointing out an eerie anomaly caught in the footage—a ghostly figure that no one noticed during filming. The warning against removal plants a seed of doubt, and his decision to hesitate sets off an unexpected chain of events. As the video slowly begins to gain traction online, viewers start dissecting every frame, discovering a barrage of strange occurrences and hidden details that the uploader himself never intended to include. What began as a private, clumsy expression of love transforms into a viral phenomenon, with an internet audience obsessively unraveling messages woven into the footage by forces far beyond its creator's control. This is a singular one-shot from the mad genius behind *Chainsaw Man* and the rising star of *To Strip the Flesh*, a haunting tale where personal devastation collides with supernatural intrigue.
