Monster Hunter: I can accept monster quests

What would you do if you were dropped into the world of Monster Hunter with nothing to your name—except a mysterious system that lets you accept monster quests? For Chen Yan, that question arrives with four very different answers, and each one could shape an entirely new life. Path A is a working man's redemption: smash through the bare walls of a rundown home with bare fists and cleave apart the prison of poverty with a keen axe, turning a tragic life around one hunt at a time. Path B promises glory on a far grander scale—punching out the ancient evil Black Dragon, kicking aside Alatreon, the living embodiment of calamity, and climbing to the very pinnacle of all hunters. Path C leads to the gathering hall, where sweet, soft-spoken receptionist ladies wait to be saved. And Path D offers a magnificent, one-of-a-kind adventure shared with a Palico companion. His Palico, Flower Meow, wags its tail in wild excitement and votes for C—rescue the girls and add every one of their "meows" to a feline harem. Chen Yan only chuckles and ruffles the black-and-white cat's head. He has already chosen D, and the cat should understand exactly what he's giving up. As for those harem dreams? The little feline can pry open a Jagras's mouth later, and he'll happily stuff it inside to fulfill its destiny of filling a monster's little stomach. Flower Meow is left utterly speechless.
