K-9: Public Security Bureau, Division 9 – Special Abilities Countermeasure

In this world, a supernatural power known as "Sin" awakens the moment a person commits a crime. Detective Ren Hizuki of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Division 1 has dedicated herself to combating the surge of brutal offenses spreading in the wake of these abilities, waging a daily battle against criminals empowered by their own sins. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is transferred to Division 9, a newly established branch of the Public Security Bureau. There, she is paired with Detective Yushiro Oboro—a man whose timid, faint-hearted nature seems strikingly at odds with the weight of their work. Together, this unlikely duo takes on investigations involving individuals marked by special abilities. Yet as their casework deepens, Ren begins to sense that Division 9 is concealing secrets of its own. Buried within the bureau's shadows lie truths no one was ever meant to uncover—and at the heart of it all stands Oboro himself, whose true identity may prove to be the greatest enigma of them all.
