The Entire Mountain Is My Hunting Ground

Reborn in 1986, Zhao Jun finds himself in an era where firearms and hunting are unregulated, and wildlife conservation laws do not yet exist. It is a time when black bears and wild boars frequently raid villages, destroying the hard-earned crops of local residents. In response, authorities actively encourage and mobilize village militias to hunt down these pests. As a young militia member and part of the hunting brigade in Yong’an Village, Zhao Jun shoulders his rifle and heads into the deep mountains. Accompanied by his loyal hounds, he embraces the rugged life of a hunter, navigating the wilderness and providing for his community in a decade defined by freedom and survival.
