Takopii no Genzai

From the distant Planet of Happiness, a cheerful alien named Takopi arrives on Earth with a single, heartfelt mission: to spread joy across the world. But his optimism is soon tested when he encounters Shizuka, a young girl whose face never graces a smile. Beneath her quiet, stoic exterior lies a deep well of sorrow, tangled in the cruelties of school life and the sting of broken friendships. For a being born of pure delight, the weight of her unhappiness is both puzzling and heartbreaking, forcing him to confront a world far more complicated than his own. As Takopi endeavors to understand human emotion and heal the wounds that have left Shizuka so withdrawn, his naïve, simple-minded nature collides with harsh realities he never anticipated. The trials of bullying, social isolation, and the fragile bonds between classmates unfold before him, challenging his innocent belief that happiness can be easily given. Yet, in his clumsy but earnest attempts to reach Shizuka, he uncovers layers of pain that run deeper than surface troubles, setting the stage for a profound and unforgettable journey. What begins as a whimsical encounter soon spirals into a gripping tale of compassion, resilience, and the extraordinary lengths one small alien will go to in order to bring light back into a darkened life.
