Through the Mist, I Became an Elf

Standing on the deck as a novice crewman, Zhao Ping'an gazes at the sea fog they are about to enter. He notes an unexpectedly fishy tang in the air. As the ship passes through the mist, he rubs his nose—then freezes in shock. Everyone on board has turned into elves. Glancing at the rippling water, he is stunned once more: his own reflection reveals that he, too, has become an elf. Fragments of memory flood back, and he looks ahead to realize this is a parallel world—one where magic, firearms, swords, and the reality of battle and bloodshed await.
