My Favorite VTuber is Scary IRL

In the quiet isolation of a rural town, a young man's new job as the sole delivery boy for "Delivery Eats" quickly turns into a nerve-wracking ordeal. His primary source of anxiety is a regular customer, a woman with a fierce, intimidating demeanor and a penetrating glare that makes every handoff a test of courage. The routine of bracing himself for her silent, stern judgment becomes the defining challenge of his days. However, the status quo shatters on his next visit when the woman finally speaks. In an instant, her gruff exterior is pierced by the sound of her voice, which he recognizes with shocking clarity: it's the voice of Hanae Fuwari, his favorite VTuber whose online streams are his only solace. The revelation is bewildering enough, but the situation escalates into the surreal when she makes an unexpected proposition—offering to pay him simply for the pleasure of his company and conversation. Thus begins the unlikely, comedic partnership between an introverted delivery boy and a shy, socially awkward woman whose fearsome appearance is her greatest shield. As their paid chats blossom, what starts as a transactional arrangement becomes an endearing journey of self-discovery, proving that youth and connection can be found in the most unexpected places, one awkward conversation at a time.
