Twilight Blade

When a fire claims the life of his mother, young Hikari is left to pick up the pieces of a shattered world. In the aftermath of the tragedy, he finds himself placed under the care of Yojin—the very investigator assigned to the case that upended his life. What begins as an arrangement born of duty gradually takes on the shape of a home, as the two forge an unlikely life together in the shadow of unanswered questions. Yet tranquility proves fleeting. However faithfully they cling to the rhythms of ordinary living, their quiet days are repeatedly torn apart by sudden intrusions from beyond—otherworldly creatures that slip through the seams between everyday reality and something far stranger, forcing the fragile peace they have built to be defended again and again. Twilight Blade is a stylish action adventure that walks the line between the mundane and the mysterious, following a boy learning to carry his grief and the man tasked with uncovering the truth behind it—where every calm morning risks giving way to a battle against the unknown.
