New Chronicles of Goguryeo

When a dream unfolds before him, an entire world opens on the other side. The realm revealed to Kim Nam-Saeng is the late Goguryeo period—and there, impossibly, he is no longer himself. He has become Yeon Nam-Saeng, the son of Yeon Gaesomun. Yet his true identity has not vanished. In reality, he remains Kim Nam-Saeng, now bound to a second existence within the dream. Straddling two lives, he must find his footing as the son of Yeon Gaesomun, shouldering a name and a lineage that were never his own while the line between dream and reality grows ever thinner. Sin Goguryeojeongi weaves historical fantasy with a deeply personal identity struggle, following one man's journey through the late Goguryeo period as he learns what it truly means to live another man's life.
