Devil in White

The Recorder’s Ring—an artifact containing the records of sinners—has been stolen. Angel Eugene descends to the human world and goes to the pub known as White Demon, the place where the culprit lives, in order to find the ring. There he meets the demon Ruth. Instead of a simple recovery, Eugene enters into a deal with him: he agrees to grant three wishes in exchange for the ring’s return. The bargain draws angel and demon into an uneasy exchange, and their encounter takes a startling turn when a question is raised: “You really don’t remember me?” With the ring still out of reach, Eugene must navigate the terms of the agreement and the mystery surrounding Ruth. The pub White Demon becomes the stage for their negotiation, where three wishes stand between Eugene and the stolen Recorder’s Ring. As the deal unfolds, the lingering question of recognition complicates the mission, hinting that this meeting may not be their first.
