Akatsuki no Ageha

A string of gruesome, unsolved murders has thrown the city's police force into disarray, with the body count of young women mounting relentlessly and every promising lead dissolving into dead ends. Detective Kudou, worn down by the pressure of the investigation, receives a cryptic referral from an acquaintance: a young girl who might hold the answers he so desperately needs. Yet the moment he finally locates her, a jolt of recognition cuts through his fatigue—he has seen her before, lurking at the periphery of a recent crime scene, her presence there utterly inexplicable and deeply unsettling. This is no ordinary informant. The girl carries an unnerving stillness, and as Kudou begins to peel back the layers of her elusive existence, a grotesque truth emerges from the shadows. She is a vampire, a creature whose very nature shatters every rational framework he has relied upon as a detective. Now, Kudou finds himself caught in a harrowing crossfire between his sworn duty to uphold justice and the terrifying realization that he may be dealing with a predator far beyond human comprehension. With the line between hunter and hunted dissolving with each passing night, he must grapple with a chilling question: is this enigmatic girl the mastermind behind the killings, a mere witness to their horror, or something even more dangerous lurking just out of reach?
