Urami Koi, Koi, Urami Koi.

In the Twelve City, a realm where humans and youkai live side by side under the governance of twelve houses—each ruled by a family bearing the name of a Chinese zodiac animal—an age-old feud stirs anew. Nekuni Kyouichi, the young head of the Rat Family, finds his life upended when a cat youkai appears before him. Draped in malice and driven by a bitter grudge against his lineage, she has come with a single purpose in mind: to end his life. Yet this vengeful visitor is far from the menace she appears to be. Nekogasaki Natsuho may seethe with hatred, but beneath that hostile facade lies a girl so painfully anxious around other people that she can barely hold herself together. Bound to a vendetta she has sworn to carry out, yet undone at every turn by her own crippling shyness, Natsuho's pursuit of her prey unfolds in ways she never anticipated. As old resentment and a heart too timid for revenge grow ever more tangled, one question remains: just as the old saying warns, will these feelings, too, end up killing the cat?
