Beneath his composed, professional exterior, corporate secretary Shirotani wages a silent battle against obsessive-compulsive disorder. His days are dictated by compulsions he cannot escape—rituals and anxieties that shadow his every move, forcing him to hide his turmoil behind a carefully maintained mask of order and control. His world begins to change the day he crosses paths with Kurose, a perceptive therapist who offers an unexpected lifeline: a structured, ten-step program designed to gradually free Shirotani from the grip of his compulsions. With cautious hope, Shirotani accepts, embarking on a path toward recovery that will test his resolve at every stage. But as the two work through each successive step, the clinical distance between patient and counselor begins to blur. Session by session, Shirotani finds himself increasingly drawn to the man guiding his healing—an attraction as unexpected as it is undeniable.
